Tesla Model S Charging Cables

The Model S series from Tesla first came to the market in 2012 and, at the time, it was revolutionary. It is now still setting the benchmark for other electric cars and is the best-selling electric car in Europe and the United States. The car comes in various versions with different specifications that affect metrics like acceleration, speed, and range. The different versions can also differentiate from each other in aspects like how long it takes to charge the batteries.

The standard version of the Tesla Model S is optimally compatible with an 11kW charger, which requires a 16A cable. Another good option is a 22kW charger which will require a 32A cable. Charging times are 6 hours and 45 minutes with an 11kW charger and 4 hours 30 minutes with a 22kW charger. This car can also be fast-charged with a 50kW charger that takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
